"Okay..." he said. That seemed a whole lot less exciting than what he had imagined.

Elijah chuckled softly. "You sound disappointed."

"I want to arrest someone," he admitted.

Elijah shook his head. "We can only do that if we find someone who needs to be arrested, and you can't do it. I'm sorry, but people don't like being arrested and I don't want you to get hurt.'

Bram thought. "Will ye arrest my sister?"

Elijah looked surprised. "What? Why?"

"Because she stole money..." Bram turned red.

Elijah nodded, "She did, but your father doesn't want her to get in trouble. Sometimes, we don't arrest someone if they person they wronged doesn't want to press charges. Like, if you were to have done it for a good reason, I'm sure your dad would forgive you too."

"Oh... okay...." He thought. "I think I'm tired of being a constable now..."

Elijah smiled weakly, "Sorry it's not funner. Though I suppose if it was there would be a lot more around town."
