Frank smiled. He was not upset in the least as he understood the propriety of the woman who led him around her home and introduced him to her guests. Tradespeople moving up in the world were considered easier targets as far as he was concerned. They were much easier to manipulate than the more aristocratic set. Frank only bothered lower-class people in a pinch. 
The Enningtons seemed like the perfect fit for his needs. He was eager to make her acquaintance.
